More from the "List" #8 - WATERMELON!

8. Watermelon (this time of year, but Fruit in general). I eat watermelon pretty much every day in summer. I love it because it is cold and juicy and oh so sweet! Sometimes it's enough to curb my cravings for sugar. I have found healthy foods that I really enjoy, which helps me feel less "deprived". Fruit is great for a snack, I like to always have some at work, along with my 94% Fat Free popcorn in case I get the munchies. And it's great if you want something sweet!

  1. Strawberries are my sweet treat when I want to feel healthy. I think it might be since they are the fruit that is paired with dessert most, I feel like I'm eating dessert :) It's really good with Reddi Whip.

    I also like to have light string cheese as a snack. Sometimes it feels like a banana or apple just won't cut it--and cheese FEELS much heartier.

  2. Oooohhh.. String cheese. That would go great with fruit. I need to buy some it's been forever since I had some. Thanks for the strawberries and Reddi Whip idea, I'm going to have to try it since I love Reddi Whip!
