This time last summer...

This time last summer I weighed 5 lbs. less than I do now. My shorts and capris are too tight to wear. This last semester of school really put the stress on, and with it the pounds. I stopped working out when school got crazy and think I put on more inches than the pounds suggest! I am proud of the 33 pounds I have lost in the past 2 years, but I still have extra weight to lose. Hence the reason for this blog. I'll keep track of my progress, post recipes I like and exercises that work for me, debate controversial diet/weight loss topics, and hopefully provide some motivation and inspiration to others trying to lose weight. Please feel free to share comments or ideas on your successes!

  1. Yay! Good jorb on getting healthier! I'm glad you are around so much so I can stay motivated. I'm feeling the opposite of motivated with Trevor's birthday this week. It's screwed up my whole routine. BlaH!

  2. op, I forgot. I liked seeing your before and after pictures. Visuals are the easiest way to get motivated, I think. You are such a beautiful girlie! I'm glad you can feel happy with yourself!

  3. Amber I love this! I feel like after loosing my 20 lbs that people think I'm crazy for wanting to loose more but I'm at the high healthy weight for my height. I would be fine with that if I was done having kids but I'm not...I've got 20 more lbs to go to get to where I want to be (the low BMI weight for my height)...or at least 15 more lbs. Miss you!!
